Day Two - Epcot

Spaceship Earth. It's kind of a big deal.

Some people drink coffee in the morning to give them that kick to help them wake up.  Not the Moss family, though. We like to start our day with a zero-to-sixty-in-three-seconds adrenaline rush. And I'm not just talking about Dad's driving. I'm referring to Test Track, which was the very first thing we hit up upon our arrival at Epcot.

This was easily the coolest thing we did today, and certainly where we spent the most time, along with Soarin'.  They've completely overhauled it since the last time we were here, and given the entire ride a Tron theme, and if you ask me, the futuristic feel allows Test Track to truly take it's place in Future World at Epcot.

Shut up and take my money- I want this car. Diggin' the futuristic design. Oh, and speaking of futuristic car designs, there were a few others that caught my eye...
This one, which looked like something straight out of F-Zero X is a concept for a futuristic flight-based car, like one you might see flying betwixt the skyscrapers of Couresant.

And naturally, they had a tron-inspired car as well. I wonder which is faster, a light-cycle or this beauty. Regardless, I hope I live long enough to see it realized. :D

One of the great new features at Test Track is that you design your own vehicle and then pit it against the other car designs in your group to see who had the best design. Mom had me design our car with an all-French interface, and we totally rocked it- 1st place!!

After the ride there was a floor show where I got behind the wheel of a brand-new convertible. Now if only all these dang tourists would get out of the way so I can drive it out the front door....
They also had a virtual racetrack where you could drive your custom car design in a virtual race against other guests. Daniel was all over this baby.

Daniel's the white car that's taking the shortcut through the dirt and cutting off all the other families. He came in first place with muddy tires and a big grin on his face.

Oh dang. This one might be even cooler than the red convertible. Hm... decisions, decisions...

After Test Track, we needed to get some breakfast, and since the lady in the pond wouldn't let us eat her cranberries for breakfast, we headed over to The Land to get some grub.

Aaawww yeah, now that's my kind of breakfast!! They have the best Strawberry shortcake there- even better than the ones at Main Street. I probably could have eaten that whole tray, but I don't think Dad would have appreciated that $156 charge to my magic wristband. Mom might have though. We could share.

After breakfast, we hit up Mom's all-time favorite ride, Soarin'! We were even big fat jerks and asked a Cast Member if we could sit on the top row of the center glider- and let me tell you, that view doesn't get any better than that.
